A telehealth visit is a scheduled video or phone visit with a respiratory therapist. It is a good fit for check-ins, questions about your equipment and teaching.
Some things still need a visit in person, such as the first set-up of equipment or a hands-on problem. If that is the case, we will schedule a home visit.

Common questions
What do I need for a video visit?
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a good internet connection. If video is not possible, we can use the phone. We will tell you how to join when we schedule your visit.
Is telehealth for emergencies?
No. For a medical emergency, call 911. Telehealth visits are scheduled in advance.
Will I still get home visits?
Yes, when you need them. Your therapist decides together with you and your doctor whether a visit by video or in person fits best.
Where should I take the call?
Somewhere quiet and private, with your equipment nearby so we can look at it together.
Emergency? Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, severe shortness of breath, blue or gray lips, or confusion, call 911.
This page is general information, not medical advice. Your doctor decides what treatment is right for you. Always follow your doctor's orders and the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment.
